Malaga Fair
Here on the blog of Hotel Yaramar we have recommended you many times to visit the city of Malaga for several different reasons. This week we are about to do it again as right now the fair of the capital of Costa del Sol is on, and this is an event well worth experiencing as it is one of the best in Spain.
The fair of Malaga started last Saturday the 12th of August and it is on until Sunday the 20th , so if you are on holiday at Hotel Yaramar now we recommend you to visit Malaga to enjoy this fantastic festival.
The fair commemorates the Reconquest of Malaga by the Catholic Monarchs on the 19th of August 1487, so this is why it is always celebrated in mid August.
As all fairs, the one of Malaga has a very traditional side, but as it getsmany visitors from all over the world it is also a very cosmopolitan and international celebration.
During the day its takes place in the historical centre of the city, so it will be quite easy for you to get there thanks to train service that connects Fuengirola with Malaga.
Once there you will be able to observe thousands of beautiful flamenco dresses as well as lovely traditional dancing in most streets….because in Malaga during the fair there is always an amazing atmosphere!
We hope you don’t miss it and have lots of fun there!Olé!
