Espetos
Do you know what an “espeto” is? If you have come on holiday to Hotel Yaramar you might have seen them, heard about them in our weekly Spanish Culture session or even tried them.
Just in case you do not know what they are this week we have decided to talk about them on our blog as we really do love them.
An “espeto” is a very traditional dish of our local cuisine and it literally is a skewer of sardines grilled in those wooden fishing boats that can be found here by the beach.
As you can imagine it is a very simple, modest and healthy dish, but in our opinion it is a must to give it a go when on holiday in Costa del Sol.
For this reason, and because at Hotel Yaramar we do love food, every two Wednesdays Simon and Emily from our Thomson Team organise a fantastic activity in our Rivera Beach Club in which they show our guests how to prepare tasty “espetos” that will of course be eaten afterwards.
If you are on holiday right now at Hotel Yaramar, your hotel in Fuengirola, we recommend you to attend this fun activity on Wednesday, the 2nd of September, at 12:30P.M… Cooking has never been this fun or this easy!
