Enjoy Summer at Hotel Yaramar
If you come to Hotel Yaramar during the summer you will enjoy some fantastic evenings by the sea at our pool terrace, as our Snack Bar opens on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 P.M to 12:00 A.M.
There you will have some fun in good company, having a drink and enjoying the live music we have available from 9:15 P.M to 10:45 P.M.
If you have been at Hotel Yaramar this time of year you might already know that the 16th of July is a very important date in Fuengirola as it is the Day of Virgen del Carmen.
Virgen del Carmen is the patron saint of the beautiful neighbourhood of Boliches, where Hotel Yaramar is located.
The Day of Virgen del Carmen is Sunday the 16th of July, and from Thursday the 13th to Monday the 17th, Los Boliches celebrates its fair in honour of the Virgen in the fairground, where there will be attractions and music and dance performances among other events.
Fuengirola is a coastal resort and Los Boliches is a traditional fishermen’s quarter very devoted to its Virgin. Being a man of the sea is a very hard and risky job, so these brave men believe the Virgin protects them and keeps them safe. For this reason every 16th of July fishermen and sailors take the Virgin out in procession as a way to say thank you.
This amazing and unique procession ends with the Virgin at the sea surrounded by boats and beautiful fireworks.
Due to our excellent location our hotel is possible to enjoy this fantastic event from our pool terrace, so if you are currently staying at Hotel Yaramar, you are invited to experience this great celebration, on Sunday the 16th of July from 9:00 P.M.
